Ladies Skating, Shooting and Scoring ***
 
Ladies Skating, Shooting and Scoring is a skill specific program that develops a player's overall scoring ability. Many players take this program to compliment their regular game play as well as to improve the skills that don’t always come naturally in game situations. This program will focus primarily on skating, shooting, and scoring, but will also develop each player’s passing, receiving and overall hockey conditioning.

Hockey Fundamentals
 
Hockey Fundamentals teaches adults the basics of strong skating and hockey skills. Players learn proper technique in skating, puck handling, passing and shooting. As skaters become more comfortable and the technique becomes natural, players will gain the confidence required to either join a league or take their game to the next level. This program is designed as an Adult Learn to play program.

Powerskating and Hockey Skills (Level 1)
 
Adult Powerskating & Hockey Skills Level 1 is intended for beginner players or players who haven't played for a while. Since hockey is 95% skating, this program will focus on proper technique in all areas of skating and will also cover the art of puck control, passing, receiving and shooting. This program provides a positive learning environment that encourages fun, teamwork, sportsmanship and dedication.

Powerskating and Hockey Skills (Level 2)
 
Adult Powerskating & Hockey Skills Level 2 is designed for those players who wish to improve their existing individual skills in a fast paced environment. The program uses high intensity skating drills, passing, shooting and puck control drills to develop an all-around hockey player. Further developing the techniques and skills learned in APHS Level 1, this program prepares players for game play.

Puckhandling / Stickhandling
 
Puck Handling focuses primarily on passing, receiving, shooting and puck control. Players learn how to shoot the puck with proper technique to ensure velocity and accuracy as well as the skills required to maintain puck control while skating. This program is aimed to improve a player’s individual skills and build their confidence when carrying a puck during the game.

Adult Powerskating and Hockey Skills Level 3 is intended for experienced players who are looking for an organized practice to complement game play. This program is recommended for those participating in the ASHL and wishing to advance their caliber of play in order to move divisions. Powerskating and Hockey Skills Level 3 is the final progression through three levels of Powerskating and Hockey Skills.

Game Situations and Techniques
 
Game Situations & Techniques is offered for players who wish to enhance their individual hockey skills during game situations. Every class consists of teaching fundamental skills, individual tactics and team strategy followed by a controlled scrimmage and small area games. Instructors give continuous feedback on positional play and game situations as they happen.
